Prima Equipment is looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Trainee to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is designed to provide you with comprehensive training and hands-on experience in the industrial sales and marketing sector. You will work closely with experienced professionals to learn about our specialized products and sales processes, with the goal of developing into a skilled Sales Executive.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in sales activities:
Support the sales team by identifying and qualifying potential leads and conducting market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
Learn product knowledge:
Undergo intensive training on Prima Equipment's portfolio of environmental and safety instruments, including CEMS, gas analyzers, and other process control products.
Support customer engagement:
Assist in preparing quotations, presentations, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
Build relationships:
Shadow senior sales professionals to learn relationship-building and negotiation skills with clients and industry experts.
Contribute to marketing:
Assist the marketing team with activities like preparing marketing materials, coordinating event participation, and engaging with industry associations.
Maintain records:
Use our CRM system to accurately record sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress.
Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation) is preferred, but graduates from other fields with a strong aptitude for technical subjects are also encouraged to apply.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
Strong interpersonal skills and a confident, outgoing personality.
A keen desire to learn and grow in a technical B2B sales environment.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Mindset:
Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Eager to take on new challenges and absorb information quickly.
