Role Overview



The

Sales Team Leader

is responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a team of sales executives or counselors to achieve the organization's sales targets. The role involves strategizing, monitoring team performance, providing training, and ensuring high standards of customer engagement and conversion.

The ideal candidate will be target-driven, proactive, and skilled in mentoring a sales team to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and supervise a team of sales executives/academic counselors to achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals. Monitor daily performance, track targets, and ensure timely reporting. Guide the team in handling inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions effectively. Develop and implement sales strategies to improve lead generation and conversion rates. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions. Support team members with complex client interactions and help close high-value deals. Collaborate with the marketing department to align sales strategies with campaigns and promotions. Maintain detailed records of team performance, leads, and sales pipeline using CRM tools. Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain professionalism across all client interactions.

Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven sales and negotiation expertise. Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in

sales
