Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Team Lead with a strong SaaS sales background to lead and grow our sales efforts for RentAsst. You will be responsible for driving revenue, managing and coaching a high-performing sales team, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring customer acquisition and retention targets are met. You will be a key contributor in shaping our go-to-market strategy and scaling our market presence across target rental business segments.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Execution
o
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Executives/Representatives.
o
Set clear targets, track performance, and drive accountability.
o
Monitor KPIs, sales forecasting, and quota attainment.
o
Design and improve sales playbooks, cadences, and processes.
Revenue Growth
o
Drive pipeline generation, qualification, deal closure, and revenue growth.
o
Partner with Marketing to optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.
o
Conduct regular territory and account planning.
o
Ensure team hits monthly/quarterly/annual revenue goals.
Customer & Market Engagement
o
Build strong relationships with customers and partners.
o
Understand rental business challenges and articulate RentAsst's value proposition to solve them.
o
Facilitate product demos and address customer inquiries with clarity and impact.
o
Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to Product and Leadership teams.
CRM & Data Discipline
o
Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline data in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
o
Use data to inform strategy, forecast accurately, and identify improvement opportunities.
Collaboration & Cross-Functionality
o
Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align sales strategies, feedback loops, and retention programs.
o
Support product positioning and messaging based on customer feedback and business needs.
Who You Are (Ideal Candidate Profile)
? Proven SaaS Sales Experience
o
Minimum 4-6+ years in SaaS sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
o
Track record of hitting and exceeding quotas.
o
Experience selling B2B software (preferably SaaS to SMB and mid-market segments).
? Leadership & Coaching Skills
o
Ability to lead, motivate, and scale a sales team.
o
Strong coaching mindset with experience improving team performance.

Excellent verbal and written communication.
