The Team Leader - Sales & Collection will be responsible for leading and supervising the sales and collection team to achieve business targets, ensure timely collections, control delinquencies, and maintain strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve monthly and yearly targets
Develop local market strategies to increase loan disbursement
Generate new business through dealers, DSAs, and direct sourcing
Monitor daily sales performance and provide regular feedback
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies
Collection Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor regular EMI collections and overdue accounts
Reduce NPAs and maintain portfolio quality
Plan and execute collection strategies for soft and hard bucket cases
Conduct field visits for critical or overdue cases
Ensure timely reporting of collection status and recovery progress
Team Management:
Assign daily tasks and targets to team members
Train and mentor sales & collection executives
Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline of the team
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
Ensure adherence to NBFC guidelines and internal processes
Coordinate with credit, accounts, and operations teams
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate (MBA preferred)
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sales & collection (NBFC/Finance sector preferred)
Strong leadership and team-handling skills
Good communication and negotiation abilities
Knowledge of local market and customers
Two-wheeler mandatory
