Sales Team Leader - Edtech


Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore (On-site)



Experience: Minimum 3 years in B2C sales in Edtech - with at least 2 years of team handling experience



Team Size Managed: 10+ members



Industry: EdTech



Working Days: 6 days a week (Sunday Fixed Off)


Salary: 12LPA + Unlimited Incentive



We are seeking a dynamic and performance-driven B2C Sales Lead to spearhead our inside sales team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in leading B2C telesales teams, actively participating in sales calls, and consistently achieving sales targets in a fast-paced EdTech environment. You will play a critical role in driving revenue, improving team efficiency, and ensuring top-notch customer experience.

Key Responsibilities :

a. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10+ inside sales executives focused on B2C outreach.

b. Ensure team meets or exceeds daily, weekly and monthly sales and conversion targets.

c. Monitor call quality and ensure sales representatives follow best practices.

d. participate in sales calls, especially with high-value leads, to drive closures and coach the team.
e. Design and execute strategies for lead conversion, follow-ups and pipeline management.

f. Conduct regular training sessions to upskill the team on product knowledge and sales techniques.

g. Analyze performance metrics, prepare reports and suggest actionable insights to improve productivity.

h. Collaborate closely with marketing, operations and product teams to optimize the sales funnel and customer journey.

Requirements :

a. Minimum 3 years of experience in B2C sales, preferably in the EdTech industry.

b. Proven experience in managing and motivating a team of 10 or more sales representatives.

c. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

d. Comfortable working in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.

e. Must have hands-on experience in taking and converting sales calls.

f. Proficient with CRM tools (like Salesforce, Zoho, Leadsquared) and sales reporting.

Preferred Qualifications :

a. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.

b. Prior experience in a high-growth EdTech startup is a plus.

c. Familiarity with regional languages Hindi is an advantage.
