Job Summary:



We are looking for a dynamic and goal-oriented

Team Leader

to manage a sales team dealing in

mutual funds, SIPs, equity, and insurance products

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring compliance, mentoring advisors/relationship managers, and delivering a superior client experience. This role combines leadership, sales strategy execution, and client relationship management within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead a team of sales executives/advisors focused on selling mutual funds, SIPs, equity, and insurance products. Drive sales targets and ensure achievement of individual and team revenue goals. Coach, train, and motivate team members on product knowledge, client handling, and regulatory compliance. Conduct regular performance reviews, track KPIs, and provide actionable feedback to enhance productivity. Guide the team in identifying potential clients, handling objections, and closing sales. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including SEBI, IRDAI, and AMFI guidelines. Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent follow-ups and personalized service. Work closely with product and operations teams to resolve client issues and ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor competition and market trends to adapt sales strategies accordingly. Generate and share daily/weekly/monthly reports on team performance, sales pipeline, and conversions.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field; MBA/PGDM is a plus. 3-5 years of experience in financial product sales, with at least 1-2 years in a team-leading role. Strong knowledge of mutual funds, SIPs, equity markets, and life/general insurance products. AMFI certification and IRDAI license preferred. Strong sales orientation with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:



Certifications such as NISM (Series V-A for Mutual Funds), IRDAI (Insurance), or CFP. Experience with wealth management platforms or fintech tools. Exposure to HNI client servicing and upselling/cross-selling financial products.
