A Sales Team Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating the activities of the sales team to ensure smooth sales operations and achievement of sales targets. Key responsibilities include managing schedules, assisting with lead generation and contract closing, maintaining accurate sales records, and coordinating communication between the sales team and other departments such as marketing and customer service. They prepare sales reports, help with sales strategy implementation, respond to customer inquiries and complaints, and organize sales events or promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage sales team schedules and activities for efficient operations.
Assist in sales strategy development and execution to meet targets.
Support lead generation, prospecting, and closing sales.
Maintain up-to-date sales records and customer databases.
Act as liaison between sales and other departments for smooth communication.
Handle client communication, complaints, and after-sales support.
Organize sales meetings, events, and training sessions.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
Train and onboard new sales team members.
Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.
