Job Summary:



We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Senior Sales Support Specialist with a technical background and business acumen to drive operational excellence across our sales function. With a foundation in engineering and an MBA, this individual will serve as a strategic partner to the sales team--enhancing deal velocity, supporting solution development, and ensuring commercial rigor across the sales lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities



Partner closely with the sales team on complex proposals, RFP responses, and solutioning--translating customer requirements into commercially viable offers. Own and continuously improve sales processes, tools, and reporting systems, leveraging CRM and sales automation platforms. Provide data-driven insights and develop dashboards to support pipeline forecasting, performance tracking, and revenue planning. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, Legal, Operations) to align on deal structures, pricing, and contract terms. Support strategic account planning, territory reviews, and win/loss analysis to inform go-to-market initiatives. Drive onboarding and enablement of new sales hires with toolkits, templates, and process guides. Act as the first line of support for key client communications, documentation, and escalations. Assist in developing internal business cases for non-standard deals or high-value enterprise opportunities.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field. MBA from a recognized institution, with a focus on Strategy, Marketing, or Finance preferred. 3-6 years of experience in sales operations, business development support, or commercial strategy roles. Familiarity with B2B sales cycles, especially in tech-enabled, SaaS, or consultative solution environments. Proficiency in CRM platforms e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot and analytics tools e.g., Excel (must have!), Tableau, Power BI. Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills. Strong commercial judgment and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Preferred Attributes



Prior experience working in high-growth environments or supporting enterprise sales teams. Understanding of solution pricing, financial modelling, or margin optimization. Exposure to international sales operations or multi-regional deal structures.
