The Global Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank. The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of Marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at both a global and market level.
This role will be part of Digital Marketing & Acquisition function and will be responsible to drive our digital sales initiatives. This role is pivotal in enabling business growth by managing sales data, creating actionable insights, and supporting partnerships and agencies. The ideal candidate is data-savvy, detail-oriented, and experienced in dashboard creation using tools like Excel and Power BI
Principal Responsibilities
Support the Digital Sales team by delivering timely and accurate data insights to drive business decisions
Create and manage MIS reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and digital sales metrics
Build and maintain business dashboards using Excel and Power BI to visualize sales performance, funnel health, and partner performance
Analyze data trends and generate actionable insights to enhance digital sales effectiveness
Manage relationships with external partners and agencies, ensuring alignment and performance tracking
Maintain and update partner MIS, providing regular analysis and performance reports
Monitor and manage the sales funnel, identifying bottlenecks and recommending optimization strategies
Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product, and tech to streamline digital sales operations
Provide ad-hoc support for strategic digital sales projects and initiatives
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in a digital sales support, business analytics, or sales operations role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and Power BI
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders, including agencies and partners
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle large datasets and generate meaningful insights.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
Keen, data driven, analytical person, with a test & learn approach
Should have an eye for detail and be able to derive conclusions from data as also adept at learning new things
Ability to liase with media and creative agencies.
Prior experience in a product/ marketing role in a financial services category is preferred
Exposure to digital marketing metrics (Organic & Paid) and analytics is preferred
