We are seeking a support executive for Logistics who will provide administrative and operational support within the logistics department. This includes coordinating shipments, monitoring inventory, processing orders, and liaising between different departments to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods. The role also involves resolving any logistical issues and ensuring that operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow up with customers to ensure timely and accurate updates on shipments, orders, and delivery status.
Coordinate effectively with freight brokers to facilitate smooth transportation and delivery processes.
Manage and organize documentation related to shipments, inventory, and other logistics processes.
Draft and maintain rate confirmations and other necessary contracts to ensure clear terms between parties.
Prioritize and manage logistics operations effectively, with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficient delivery timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues related to shipping, inventory, or customer inquiries.
Required Skills & Experience:
A bachelor's degree in any field is preferred.
Proficiency in invoicing software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of basic logistics processes and terminology, including shipping methods, customs, and inventory management.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
