Key Responsibilities:

Sales Reporting & Analysis

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales MIS (target vs achievement). Analyze sales data, trends, gaps, and performance. Maintain accurate sales data in ERP/CRM systems. Share reports and dashboards with management.

Sales Planning & Strategy Support

Assist in sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting. Support implementation of sales strategies and improvement initiatives. Provide market, customer, and product insights to sales leadership.

Field Sales Support & Coordination

Guide outside sales executives on customer visit planning and priorities. Prepare visit plans, follow-up schedules, and customer pipelines. Track field activities and ensure timely follow-ups. Support preparation of quotations, proposals, and presentations.

Technical & Cross-Functional Support

Review and understand customer requirements, specifications, and drawings. Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams for technical clarifications. Provide accurate technical inputs to support sales decisions.

Mandatory Skills & Knowledge

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering

Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings (GA, fabrication, assembly drawings)

Relevant industry experience in manufacturing / industrial machinery preferred

Strong analytical and reporting skills Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/CRM systems Good communication and coordination skills

Experience

4+ years in inside sales, sales support, or sales analysis Experience in industrial / machinery manufacturing preferred
