We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused
Sales Support Specialist
to assist our sales team and ensure smooth and efficient sales operations. This role plays a key part in supporting sales activities, managing customer information, generating and handling leads, and delivering excellent service to both internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team
Prepare and process sales quotations, orders, contracts, and invoices, coordinating with the dispatch team for material verification
Respond to customer leads and inquiries on
Indiamart
and actively generate new leads through the platform
Develop and monitor performance indicators for sales and staff members
Manage sales tracking tools and compile performance and sales reports
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales data in CRM systems
Respond to customer inquiries related to products, pricing, availability, and order status
Coordinate communication between the sales team, customers, dispatch, and other internal departments
Track daily sales activities and prepare reports for management review
Assist in scheduling meetings, presentations, and follow-up activities
Resolve order-related issues, billing discrepancies, and customer concerns efficiently
Support improvements in sales processes and overall team efficiency
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
