Role Overview -



CHAL

is looking for a hands-on Operations & Logistics Executive who will act as a key support function for daily business operations. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable interacting with customers, managing store operations, coordinating logistics, and representing the brand when the founder is unavailable.

The role combines sales support, customer handling, logistics coordination, and operational control, making it a core position in the organization.

Key Responsibilities



1. Customer Interaction & Sales Support



-Handle customer queries via WhatsApp and email using predefined response templates

-Assist walk-in customers at the store with product selection and billing

-Act as the primary point of contact ("face of the brand") during the founder's absence

-Support sales during exhibitions, pop-ups, and stalls, including customer engagement and billing

-Maintain polite, brand-aligned communication at all customer touchpoints

2. Logistics & Shipping Operations



-Coordinate domestic and international shipping (order dispatch, tracking, follow-ups)

-Ensure timely shipment of customer orders and resolve delivery-related issues

-Maintain shipping records and update order status regularly

3. Vendor & Sourcing Coordination



-Coordinate with shoemakers, packaging vendors, and sourcing partners

-Follow up on production timelines, dispatches, and material availability

-Escalate delays or quality issues proactively

4. Store Operations & Inventory Management



-Manage stock inward and outward entries accurately

-Maintain real-time inventory records

-Ensure store cleanliness, organisation, and visual order

-Assist in basic visual merchandising and product arrangement

5. Grievance & Reporting Management



-Track customer complaints and resolutions in a Google Sheet

-Ensure timely closure of grievances with proper documentation

-Prepare and submit daily sales reports (store + exhibitions)

6. Exhibitions & Events Handling



-Support stall setup, product display, billing, and customer handling at exhibitions

-Manage stock movement before and after events

-Coordinate logistics for exhibition materials and products

Ideal Candidate Profile



-Comfortable with sales, customer interaction, and operations

-Well-organised, reliable, and able to multitask

-Basic understanding of inventory, logistics, and order processing

-Confident in handling customers independently

-Familiar with WhatsApp, email, Google Sheets, and basic billing systems

-Prior experience in retail, footwear, fashion, D2C, or lifestyle brands is a plus
