Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Freight Forwarding Specialist based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves managing the sales process, building and maintaining relationships with customers, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities also include identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and collaborating with the team to develop strategies and meet sales targets. The position requires active communication with clients and ensuring consistent follow-up on leads and inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying new revenue/business opportunities
Actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through active networking and utilizing business referrals
Building Business relationship with existing and potential new clients
Executing Sales Strategies and Plans to grow business in coordination with top management
Meet and exceed Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly sales targets
Listen, identify, and understand existing clients/prospective clients needs and deliver to their expectations
Liaison with Operations team for delivering client services as per agreed terms to
meet customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Prior experiences in freight forwarding, custom clearance, transportation, or is highly desirable
Strong skills in Communication and Customer Service
Minimum experience of 3-4 years in Sales in Freight Forwarding / Logistics field
Proficiency in negotiation and closing sales
Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field is preferred
