to join our growing solar energy team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in connecting with potential customers, understanding their needs, educating them about solar solutions, and guiding them throughout the entire sales cycle--from the first call to project installation.
This role is best suited for individuals who are confident communicators, have strong convincing skills, and are passionate about renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities1. Lead Handling & Initial Communication
Make inbound and outbound calls to leads provided by the company.
Understand the customer's requirements, current electricity usage, and property details.
Explain the benefits of solar energy and available subsidy schemes.
Build trust and maintain a positive customer experience from the first interaction.
2. Product Education & Customer Consultation
Educate customers on different solar solutions (On-grid, Hybrid, Off-grid systems).
Provide accurate information on system capacity, cost, ROI, warranties, and installation process.
Clarify customer doubts related to technical aspects, financial benefits, and long-term savings.
3. Sales Process Management
Prepare and share quotations based on customer requirements.
Follow up consistently with interested customers and convert leads into sales.
Coordinate with the technical team for site visits, feasibility checks, and load studies.
Assist customers with documentation required for subsidies, loans, and approvals.
4. Coordination Until Project Completion
Ensure a smooth transition from sales to installation.
Update customers on project timelines, material delivery, and installation status.
Maintain regular communication with the operations team to ensure timely execution.
Provide after-sales support or connect customers with the service team when needed.
Skills & QualificationsEssential Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and explain technical information in simple terms.
Good negotiation and presentation skills.
Basic computer proficiency (Email, MS Office, CRM tools).
Ability to work independently and meet monthly sales targets.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in solar sales / electrical sales / field sales is an advantage.
Knowledge of solar energy systems and government subsidy programs.
Malayalam and English fluency.
Eligibility
Minimum qualification: Diploma / Degree.
Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.
