Role Overview
We are looking for a
Sales Specialist
(Event Tech)
who understands SaaS selling and has strong experience in client acquisition, product demonstrations, and deal closures. This role is ideal for someone who can own the sales cycle from lead qualification to closing while working closely with marketing and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Own the end-to-end sales cycle for VRE's Event Tech platform
Generate and qualify leads through inbound, outbound, and strategic prospecting
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools
Drive revenue growth by closing mid- to large-size B2B deals
Product Demonstration & Consultation
Deliver high-impact product demos tailored to client needs
Understand client event goals and recommend suitable VRE solutions
Handle objections, pricing discussions, and negotiation confidently
Act as a trusted consultant rather than a transactional salesperson
Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and partners
Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding and post-sale success
Ensure a smooth handover to delivery and account management teams
Market & Growth Insights
Track market trends in event tech, SaaS, and virtual experiences
Share client feedback with product and leadership teams
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Required Skills & Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in SaaS / Event Tech / B2B sales
Strong understanding of virtual events, event platforms, or digital experiences
Proven experience in product demos and solution selling
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Comfortable working with CRM tools, Zoom demos, and sales funnels
Result-oriented mindset with ownership and accountability
Preferred (Good to Have
)
Experience selling to corporates, HR teams, marketing teams, or agencies
Knowledge of virtual conferences, webinars, expos, or hybrid events
Prior experience in a startup or fast-growing SaaS environment
