Job Role Overview:

As a Sales cum Service Engineer, you will be responsible for both sales activities and providing technical support and services to our customers. This multifaceted role requires a candidate with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle customer inquiries, identify sales opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Sales:

Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the customer base. Identify potential requirements of the customers and proactively pursue sales opportunities. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with customers. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Service:

Conducting regular inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs of industrial pumps, valves, and related machinery to ensure optimal functionality and performance. Collaborating with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and offer solutions tailored to their requirements. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance equipment lifespan. Troubleshooting equipment issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective measures promptly. Performing installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety protocols. Generating detailed service reports, documentation, and maintaining accurate records of service activities. Providing technical training and guidance to clients or internal teams as necessary. Collaborating with the sales and engineering teams to contribute technical insights for product development and improvement.
Qualification & Skills Required:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in servicing industrial pumps, valves, and associated equipment. In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic principles, and industrial machinery. Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform diagnostics and troubleshooting effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively. Dedication to upholding and adhering to stringent workplace safety standards and guidelines.
