The Sales Representative will be responsible for visiting assigned areas, meeting B2B clients from generated inquiries, understanding their requirements, and converting those inquiries into confirmed orders. The role focuses on developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Area-Wise Visits:
Visit assigned industrial areas regularly (as per schedule) to meet potential and existing B2B customers.
Inquiry Handling:
Follow up on generated inquiries (from marketing team, website, exhibitions, or references) and convert them into sales opportunities.
Client Meetings:
Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and quotations follow-up to close deals.
Order Conversion:
Ensure timely conversion of inquiries to orders through consistent follow-up and negotiation.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in industries such as plastics, textiles, pharma, and metal works.
Market Intelligence:
Gather information on market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to share with management.
Reporting:
Maintain visit reports, inquiry tracking sheets, and submit daily/weekly updates to the Sales Manager.
Payment & Delivery Coordination:
Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery timelines, and payment follow-ups.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Graduate/Diploma in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in
B2B industrial sales
(preferred in manufacturing, engineering, or allied industries).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Self-motivated with a strong result-oriented approach.
Willing to travel extensively within the assigned area.
Performance Metrics:
Number of area visits per week/month.
Inquiry-to-order conversion ratio.
Sales revenue achieved vs. target.
Customer satisfaction and retention rate.
