The Sales & Pre-Sales Relationship Manager will play a key role in driving business growth by engaging with prospective and existing clients, understanding their financial goals, and recommending suitable investment products. The role combines sales execution with relationship management and pre-sales advisory functions. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new investors.
This position involves close collaboration with the marketing, operations, and post-sales teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with prospective clients from marketing-generated leads via calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
Understand clients' financial objectives and recommend appropriate investment products (e.g., Mutual Funds, PMS, etc.).
Clearly communicate the firm's value proposition, process, and benefits to potential clients.
Address client queries, handle objections, and guide prospects through the investment process until conversion.
Maintain high responsiveness and consistent follow-up discipline to achieve sales and conversion targets.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to encourage retention and referrals.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
Prepare sales reports and analyze data to support business strategy development.
Ensure accurate and timely capture of client details and investment preferences in the CRM system.
Coordinate with operations for account opening, documentation, and smooth client onboarding.
Handover converted clients to the Post-Sales Relationship Manager with a detailed briefing.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine sales strategies.
Represent the company at client meetings and industry events when required.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Freshers and candidates with 1-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Proven experience in a sales or relationship management role, preferably in the finance or investment industry.
Strong English-speaking skills with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Sound understanding of investment products such as Mutual Funds and Portfolio Management Services (PMS).
Empathetic and able to build rapport quickly with clients.
Strong analytical, market research, and customer service orientation.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly organized, disciplined, and capable of managing multiple client interactions efficiently.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
High ethical standards and a customer-first mindset.
