Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced FMCG Sales Representative to manage and grow sales of our Tea and Makhana range across Sikkim.
This is a field-intensive role requiring strong local market knowledge, territory experience, and retailer/distributor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Targets
Achieve monthly primary & secondary sales targets (Tea + Makhana).
Drive market penetration and improve outlet availability.
Plan and execute schemes, sampling, and push strategies.
2. Territory Coverage
Cover Sikkim route efficiently:
Gangtok, Namchi, Mangan, Soreng, Gyalshing, Pakyong, Rongli, Ranipool etc.
Minimum 25-30 productive calls per day.
Onboard new retailers and reactivate non-moving outlets.
3. Distributor Handling
Appoint and manage distributors in key districts.
Ensure proper stock levels, timely billing, and payment follow-up.
Monitor distributor salesmen performance and beat plans.
4. Merchandising & Visibility
Install POS materials (wobblers, danglers, shelf strips).
Ensure planogram execution, stock freshness, and expiry control.
Support placement in cafes, hotels, supermarkets, and general stores.
5. Market Intelligence
Track competitor pricing, offers, schemes, and outlet movement.
Share weekly updates from the field with photos & insights.
6. Reporting
Maintain accurate DSR (Daily Sales Report).
Report secondary sales, outlet additions, route coverage, and visibility status.

Candidate Requirements
2-5 years FMCG field sales experience (tea/snacks/spices/dry foods preferred).
Strong knowledge of Sikkim market geography & retailer network.
Proven track record of achieving targets.
Strong negotiation & communication skills.
Local candidates preferred or those currently handling Sikkim routes.
Should be comfortable with extensive travel.
Must own a smartphone for daily reporting.
