will be responsible for promoting and selling our jewelry products to customers, boutiques, and retailers in different markets, particularly through out-of-state travel. This role will require someone with a passion for sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of the jewelry market. You will act as the face of the company, developing relationships with clients and helping grow the brand presence in new regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and develop new business opportunities for jewelry sales, targeting retail clients, boutiques, and high-end customers.
Conduct face-to-face sales meetings with potential clients across out-of-state regions to promote and sell the jewelry collection.
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Travel & Client Engagement:
Travel regularly out of state to attend trade shows, meet with prospective clients, and manage accounts in assigned regions.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and fairs to showcase jewelry collections and expand brand awareness.
Product Knowledge & Presentation:
Stay up-to-date with the latest jewelry trends, product details, and industry developments to effectively present and sell products.
Provide customers with detailed product knowledge, including materials, craftsmanship, and design, to ensure a top-tier sales experience.
Sales Targets & Reporting:
Achieve sales targets and goals set by the company for each region.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management for strategy and product development insights.
Customer Service & Relationship Management:
Offer exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and resolve any concerns or issues promptly.
Follow up with clients to maintain positive relationships and explore further sales opportunities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing and design teams to understand product offerings and create tailored sales strategies for different markets.
Logistics & Travel Coordination:
Manage travel schedules and logistics efficiently to maximize time spent with clients and minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in jewelry, fashion, or luxury goods. Experience in out-of-state or regional sales is a plus.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building client relationships.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Product Knowledge:
Strong passion and understanding of the jewelry industry, including knowledge of materials, design trends, and market demands.
Travel:
Willingness to travel out of state frequently, including overnight stays, to meet with clients and attend events.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel purposes.
Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
