Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced
Sales Representative
to lead business development for our
PHP development services
. You will identify client needs, present technical capabilities, and close deals for custom PHP-based web applications, CMS development, and open-source integrations.
This is a client-facing role that requires both technical understanding and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Drive outbound and inbound sales for PHP-based web development services.
Understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions using PHP technologies (e.g., Laravel, WordPress, Symfony).
Collaborate with technical teams to develop proposals, pricing, and project scopes.
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and report activity via CRM tools.
Stay current with PHP development trends and competitive offerings.
Build long-term client relationships and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Requirements
3+ years
of B2B sales experience, preferably in IT, software, or web development services.
Strong understanding of PHP and related frameworks like
Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter
, or CMS platforms such as
WordPress and Drupal
.
Proven ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).
Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling open-source web solutions or CMS development services.
Familiarity with REST APIs, MySQL, and full-stack development workflows.
Previous work with clients in e-commerce, media, healthcare, or education sectors.
Basic understanding of hosting, scalability, and security in web applications.
