Job Title: Sales Representative - FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) - General Trade Location: Kolkata Job Responsibilities: Customer Acquisition and Retention: Identify and target potential distributors and retailers in the assigned territory. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Distributor Management: Effectively manage and support a network of distributors in the general trade sector. Provide training and product knowledge to distributors to enhance their sales capabilities. Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth. Provide regular feedback to the management team on market dynamics and competitor strategies. Order Management: Ensure accurate and timely order processing, tracking, and delivery to customers. Resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies promptly. Promotional Activities: Coordinate and execute promotional activities, product launches, and marketing campaigns in collaboration with marketing teams. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, market analysis, and other relevant metrics. Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Skills: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG sector. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of the general trade market and distributor handling is a plus. Salary and Benefits: Competitive base salary up to $16,000 per annum. Attractive commission and incentive structure based on performance.
