Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive cum Optometrist to drive sales while providing professional eye care services. This dual-role position combines sales expertise with optometric knowledge to consult customers, perform eye examinations, recommend products, and close deals. Ideal for someone passionate about eye health and customer satisfaction in a retail or e-commerce setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, vision tests, and prescriptions for corrective lenses using optometric equipment.
Advise customers on eyewear options, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses, based on their needs and preferences.
Drive sales targets by upselling products, promoting promotions, and building long-term customer relationships.
Manage inventory, ensure product displays are appealing, and handle point-of-sale transactions.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing queries, resolving complaints, and following up on after-sales support.
Collaborate with the team to organize eye camps, workshops, or online consultations to boost brand awareness.
Maintain accurate records of patient consultations, sales data, and compliance with health regulations.
Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and advancements in optometry.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Optometry (B.Optom) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Valid optometrist license or certification (e.g., from the Optometry Council of India or relevant body).
Proven experience in sales, preferably in retail eyewear or healthcare (1-3 years minimum).
Strong knowledge of optometric practices, including refraction, contact lens fitting, and basic ocular health assessments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers.
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets and negotiate effectively.
Proficiency in using optometric tools, CRM software, and MS Office.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if in a retail environment.
Fluency in English and [local language, e.g., Hindi] is preferred.
