Job Purpose
To drive sales growth, enhance product availability, and strengthen customer relationships in the General Trade (GT) segment by managing distributors and retailers in the assigned markets of Kumbakonam & Mayiladuthurai.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the territory.
Ensure product placement and visibility across General Trade outlets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
Implement trade schemes, offers, and promotional activities effectively.
Ensure proper stock rotation, availability, and replenishment at retail points.
Monitor distributor operations, including stock levels, claims, and ROI.
Collect payments on time and maintain credit hygiene.
Conduct regular market visits for coverage expansion and route compliance.
Track competitor activities and share insights with the management team.
Submit daily/weekly sales and market reports.
Skills & Competencies
Strong negotiation & communication skills.
Good knowledge of FMCG distribution & retailing.
Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
Proficiency in MS Office & sales reporting.
Local market knowledge of Kumbakonam & Mayiladuthurai is mandatory.*
