Outline of Position, Responsibilities & Authority

The Sr.Engineer - Sales & Marketing, will be based at Chennai. He will be responsible for the Marketing and Sales activities of the Company in the States of Chennai and nearby location.

Responsibilities :

• All marketing and business development functions in the region, including customer/ market communication through different media.
• Developing and implementing marketing strategies in line with the corporate strategy, for enhancing market share.
• Setting and achieving region-wise Value/Volume/Profitability/Cost objective.
• Preparing weekly & monthly Sales reports, trend charts etc.
• Maintaining the Marketing and Sales functions within the overall ethical framework of the Company.

CANDIDATE PROFILE :

• Applicants should be Diploma Engineer with 5-6 years experience OR B.E with 3-4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in selling industrial products / tool & die making / plastic engineering (from the likes of GTTC/NTTF/CIPET/IGTR/or from any reputed Engineering Colleges)
• Practical, performance-driven and effective, with a proven track record in the business development area in an industrial environment.
• Relevant experience in Tool and Die making, Plastic mold making; or Precision component or close tolerance machining industry; small batch or made-to-order environment preferred.
• Pleasing personality with excellent networking & communication skills, both oral & written in English
• Experience in market study, analyzing sales and market trends, preparing marketing plans etc.
• Probably in the age bracket 25-30 years
• Knowledge of MS Office and other Computer applications
• Working knowledge of Autocad, preferred
