Job Purpose:
To achieve sales targets by developing and maintaining strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and stockiest in the assigned territory. Drive product visibility, ensure availability, and support market penetration through effective execution of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Ensure product availability and visibility across outlets.
Market Development
Identify new business opportunities within the general trade channel.
Expand the distribution network and increase outlet coverage.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and trade partners.
Handle trade queries, complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Execution & Merchandising
Ensure proper placement of products, promotional materials, and point-of-sale visibility.
Execute trade marketing activities as per company guidelines.
Reporting & Analysis
Provide daily/weekly sales reports and market feedback.
Monitor competitor activities and share insights with the management.
Key Requirements:
Graduate (preferred in Commerce/Marketing/Business).
2-3 years of proven experience in General Trade Sales (FMCG / Consumer Goods / Distribution industry). [Edible oil , Rice , Flour ]
Strong understanding of GT channel, distributor handling, and outlet coverage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Target-driven with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
