The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of conveyor belts and related industrial products by identifying customer needs, providing technical solutions, and building long-term relationships across key industries such as mining, cement, power plants, steel, manufacturing, logistics, and e-commerce. The role requires a strong blend of technical understanding and consultative sales expertise.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
Identify, develop, and manage new and existing customer accounts within assigned territories or industries.
Promote and sell conveyor belts, accessories, and industrial solutions tailored to client applications.
Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and close sales deals in line with company objectives.
Achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and market penetration goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit cement, steel, power plants, and ports/bulk handling terminals to engage with engineers and maintenance teams
- Maintain strong client relationships to understand their requirements and provide suitable industrial maintenance solutions
- Demonstrate and sell industrial consumables such as conveyor belts, bearings, rollers, fasteners, lubricants, etc.

Travel on a Pan-India basis to meet client needs effectively
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) or a related technical field preferred.
2-7 years of experience in technical sales of industrial, mechanical, or engineering products (conveyor belts experience is highly desirable).
Experience selling to industries such as mining, cement, steel, manufacturing, logistics, or e-commerce is an advantage.
