Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction for quotation delivery, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations

- Quotation Preparation: Develop technical concepts with sales, technology, engineering, and commercial services teams

- Project Management: Manage allocated scope of work to achieve quotation goals, including preparing schedules and documents

- Technical Support: Offer technical expertise and support to internal teams and customers. Present offers and technical concepts to customers, negotiate technical topics, and ensure timely responses to technical issues

1. Design and Development: Collaborate with design teams to develop new rubber part designs and prototypes.

2. Material Selection: Assist in selecting suitable materials for rubber parts, considering factors like durability, cost, and performance.

3. Manufacturing Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

4. Cost Reduction Initiatives: Implement cost-saving initiatives, such as reducing material waste or improving production yields.

5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that quoted products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

6. Quotation Management: Manage quotation databases, track quotation history, and analyze quotation performance metrics.

7. Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, provide technical support, and develop winning quotes.

8. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in the rubber industry.

9. Product Lifecycle Management: Manage product lifecycles, including end-of-life planning, product phase-out, and replacement.

10. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance quotation accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
