Smytten is an online discovery platform for premium products and services that aim to enhance the way aspirational Indians discover, interact with, and purchase premium products and services, making the experience more immersive. It\'s slated to be India\'s first discovery and trial platform that cuts across multiple premium lifestyle categories like beauty & grooming products, health and fitness, wellness, and other services. Smytten was founded in August 2015 by Siddhartha Nangia and Swagata Sarangi, both graduates of the Indian School of Business. Swagata, in his last stint, headed business marketing at Google, and Siddhartha, an FMCG industry veteran, was a director at Unilever London.

About the internship

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Reaching out to potential customers and convincing them about the product\'s or brand\'s caliber for the business expansion
2. Conducting sales events, and promotions, advertising the product and working with the marketing team for better exposure
3. Building product knowledge and delivering this knowledge in engaging ways
4. Setting up attractive product displays and promotional booths
5. Engaging in meaningful interactions and building good relationships with customers
6. Actively engaging with customers
7. Setting up and cleaning up counters at the beginning and end of the workday

Requirements:

1. Degree in marketing preferable
2. Experience in retail recommended
3. Sharp customer service skills
4. Eloquent and comfortable when delivering presentations
5. Excellent observation skills

Skills & Experience:

1. Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
2. Good knowledge of MS Excel
3. Good interpersonal skills and a good team player
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Self-starter with -out of the box- and strategic thinking ability
