We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Quotations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming client requirements and technical specifications into accurate, professional price quotes in ERP.



You will act as the primary link between our Sales team and our back-office operations, ensuring all data is meticulously recorded in our

ERP, CRM, and Excel

systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Quote Generation:

Prepare high-quality, accurate quotations and cost estimates using our

ERP Software

Data Management:

Maintain and update product pricing, discounts, and customer data across all platforms

Excel Modeling:

Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements)

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

Work closely with the Sales team to understand client needs and with the Supply Chain/Production team to verify lead times and stock availability.

Quality Control:

Review all outgoing quotes for errors in pricing, taxes, or shipping terms before they reach the client.

Follow-up & Tracking:

Monitor the status of pending quotes within the CRM / ERP and provide regular reports on conversion rates and "open" opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Software Proficiency:

Proven experience working within an

ERP system

and a

CRM

.

Advanced Excel:

Ability to handle large datasets, create formulas, and format professional spreadsheets for external use.

Attention to Detail:

An eagle eye for spotting inconsistencies in technical specifications or pricing tiers.

Communication:

Ability to explain complex pricing structures to the Sales team and interact professionally with vendors or clients.

Preferred Experience:

6 Months - 1 Year years of experience in a similar role (Estimating, Sales Support, or Billing). Experience in the Steel / Fabrication or Manufacturing Sector. * Basic understanding of [Insert relevant tax/shipping knowledge, e.g., GST Incoterms]
