Job Purpose




ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, presents a unique opportunity for a full-time Sales Operations Analyst to join a team responsible for supporting Sales Management and the Sales organization. The Sales Operations Analyst will be supporting general Sales Operations functions including sales reporting, analysis, compensation related tasks and other ad-hoc needs of Sales Management and the Sales organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) with an understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures.


The Sales Operations Analyst will be primarily responsible for ad hoc reporting using Salesforce.com and various internal systems as well as working closely with both Sales and the CRM development team. The ideal candidate must have the technical aptitude to quickly learn and become proficient with other ICE internal systems such as Anaplan, Tableau, SharePoint, Service Now, among others. This position acts as an advisory role for Sales Management and will also be responsible for providing technical strategy and recommendations to ensure application tools meet the business needs. This individual will lead key project initiatives around better sales practices and efficient workflows, and as a result will be responsible for the day-to-day stewardship and maintenance of the many reports our sales organization must keep current to produce good quality reports, outputs and analysis.

Responsibilities



Assist with creating and maintaining highly confidential sales compensation documents, as well as maintaining employee compensation information in Anaplan. Review and analyze current business procedures and provide recommendations on better business practices and future strategies. Comfortable operating in a high-performing team and managing multiple project/initiatives simultaneously. Performs with high level of autonomy in performing day-to-day tasks. Strong communication, analytical, organizational and teamwork skills. Apply industry-specific best practice knowledge to build lean, efficient, and effective operating processes. Improve existing processes to ensure they are flexible and scalable to support ever changing business and technology requirements. Drive adoption of SFDC and enhance current user experience, ensuring data quality in all SFDC reports and Anaplan dashboards. Research and analyze data and produce value added reporting for senior management. Work closely with Sales Leadership to ensure territories and quotas are accurately assigned. Work as a liaison with the Commissions department to ensure the Sales and Account Management teams are paid accurately. Research and help resolve commission errors. Provide direct user support on SFDC, including both technical use as well as business process questions. Lead key initiatives around Sales business processes, working with various departments and applications Train Sales team on different Sales tools (SFDC, Anaplan, Tableau, Sales Navigator, Adobe Sign, Pramada, etc.) Develop, produce, and distribute monthly/quarterly sales reports and metrics, as well as various ad hoc reports requested by sales management Work closely with the SFDC admin and Business Operations Team to roll out new SFDC enhancements.

Knowledge and Experience



Bachelor's degree in business related discipline is preferred. Previous experience with SFDC (including creating reports, dashboards, etc.), CRM Analytics, Anaplan, and Tableau preferred. Effective and creative problem-solving and analytical skills. Very strong MS excel skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments. Oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint). Ability to be flexible with on demand reporting; database management; and organize and prioritize work. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact with all levels. Demonstrated ability to influence and work cooperative with other individuals and across multiple business units. 3+ years' experience supporting large sales force with related sales processes. * Knowledge of financial industry, sales and marketing operation is preferred.
