Job Profile:
The Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned territory, ensuring expansion of market reach, and maintaining a proper Cost-to-Sales (C to S) ratio from the beginning. This role involves distributor management, retail development, and execution of sales strategies to achieve company targets.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Sales Growth & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain a healthy C to S ratio.
- Plan and execute strategies to increase product penetration.
2. Market Expansion & Territory Development
- Identify new markets, onboard distributors, and expand retail coverage.
- Ensure complete route coverage in the assigned territory.
3. Distributor & Channel Management
- Handle distributors and ensure their sales performance and financial discipline.
- Monitor stock levels, collections, returns, and claims.
4. Retailer Development & Market Execution
- Conduct regular market visits for visibility, display, and merchandising.
- Build strong relationships with retailers and wholesalers.
- Implement promotional and trade schemes effectively.
