The Sales Officer is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales of the company's travel and tourism services. The role requires excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and a customer-centric approach to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new sales leads through calls, emails, and networking.
Promote and sell travel packages, holiday tours, and visa services to individual and corporate clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and invoices for clients.
Follow up on leads, inquiries, and pending payments in a timely manner.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
Coordinate with the operations and ticketing team for seamless service delivery.
Represent the company at exhibitions, events, or client meetings as required.
Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager/Head of Department.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in sales (travel and tourism industry preferred).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Target-driven with a proven record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, or Malayalam will be an added advantage).
