Job Description

Sales & Revenue Generation

: Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales, revenue, and collection targets for cattle feed.

Distribution Network

: Identify, recruit, and manage distributors, wholesalers, and dealers; ensure product availability and optimal stock levels.

Farmer Engagement

: Conduct field visits, demonstrations, training, and advisory sessions for farmers on feed usage, nutrition, and best practices.

Market Development

: Expand distribution, drive rural market penetration, and identify new business opportunities in dairy/cattle hubs.

Channel Support

: Train and coach sales officers/territory executives, improve channel productivity, and ensure compliance.

Customer Relationship

: Build strong relationships with farmers, vets, cooperatives, and stakeholders; handle queries and complaints.

Market Intelligence

: Track competitor activities, pricing, customer insights, and market trends; provide feedback to R&D/production.

Reporting

: Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
Core Skills & Qualifications

Experience

: Proven sales experience in the agricultural or animal feed sector.

Knowledge

: Deep understanding of animal nutrition, the cattle feed market, and local agricultural practices.

Education

: A degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field is often preferred.

Soft Skills

: Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Attributes
