Identify and pursue business opportunities for gensets in
government sectors
, including Road & Building Departments, Municipal Corporations, PSUs, and other public infrastructure projects.
Build a robust sales pipeline with
corporate clients
(construction companies, industries, real estate developers, hospitals, etc.).
Achieve assigned sales targets for the territory and segment.
Government & Institutional Liaison
Liaise with government officials, engineers, and procurement officers to understand tender requirements and project needs.
Monitor tenders on government portals and ensure timely participation and compliance.
Prepare and submit bids and tender documentation in coordination with the tendering team.
Track and follow up on tender results and award status.
Corporate Liaisoning
Establish and maintain professional relationships with key decision-makers in private sector companies and consultants.
Understand client requirements, propose suitable genset solutions, and conduct technical/product presentations.
Coordination & Support
Coordinate with internal departments (technical, logistics, service) for pre-sales and post-sales activities.
Follow up on order execution, payment collection, and documentation.
Prepare and maintain reports on leads, opportunities, quotations, and customer interactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred), Business Administration, or equivalent.
Experience :
5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in the
generator / capital equipment / infrastructure
sectors.
Experience working with
government departments and e-tendering platforms (GeM, eProcurement)
is highly preferred.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
