Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Officer to join our Agri Input Manufacturing Industry team. As a Sales Officer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our agri input products, achieving sales targets, and building and maintaining relationships with customers. Key Responsibilities: Developing and implementing sales strategies to promote our agri input products and achieve sales targets. Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers, identifying their needs, and providing them with appropriate solutions. Conducting market research to identify potential customers and develop strategies to attract and retain them. Developing and maintaining a sales pipeline, tracking sales activities and progress, and reporting on sales performance. Conducting product demonstrations and training sessions for customers. Collaborating with other departments, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction. Participating in industry events and conferences to promote our products and services. Maintaining knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales in the agri input industry. Knowledge of crop management practices, crop protection products, and fertilizers. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good organisational and time-management skills Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Fluency in the local language(s) and English.
