Role Summary

As a

Territory Sales Manager (TSM)

, you will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, managing distribution channels, and leading a field sales team within the Thrissur territory. The ideal candidate will have experience in FMCG sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the local market.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory. Build and manage a strong distribution network (stockists, distributors, and retailers). Monitor market trends and competitor activities to devise strategic actions. Ensure timely order booking, delivery, and payment collection. Conduct regular market visits to ensure effective implementation of sales strategies. Ensure product visibility and availability across key outlets. Conduct trade promotions and BTL activities to boost brand presence. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA in Marketing preferred). Minimum

1 year of experience in FMCG sales

, preferably in the tea or beverage segment. Proven experience in territory management and distributor handling. Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Sound knowledge of the Thrissur market and surrounding regions. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
