Must have Strong experience in cosmetics or Personal care products (5+ years) within a large Indian or multinational organization preferably within the FMCG industry with a major focus on Rural & Urban Market, General Trade & Modern Trade.
Purpose of role
The Candidate will be responsible for primary and secondary target achievement of the assigned territory. Handle General Trade for cosmetic. Adept at identifying and developing key clients for business excellence and accomplishment of targets.
Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the General Trade segment.
Drive effective sales planning and forecasting aligned with product shelf life and market demand.
Build and strengthen relationships with GT Markets to maximize visibility and shelf share.
Develop and execute strategies for promotions, in-store visibility.
Monitor and control trade spends, discounts, and schemes effectively.
Conduct regular market visits to track competition, gather market insights, and proactively plan counter-strategies.
Allocate and manage field manpower based on business potential.
Mentor, train, and motivate the sales team to enhance product knowledge, negotiation skills, and execution excellence in the Retail channel.
Ensure alignment with the Annual Operating Plan through accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
