Role: Sales Officer - Home LoansPurpose of the Job
Your main job is to meet sales targets by finding new leads in your area, building strong relationships with those leads (sources), and keeping your area active and productive.
Regularly visit and understand every lane and area assigned to you.
Find new people or businesses who can give you home loan leads.
Keep your manager updated on your progress during team meetings.
What you need to know:
Know your area well.
Be able to plan and divide your area for better coverage.
Use tools like maps, data, and apps to find new sources.
2. Source Relationship Management
Build and maintain a good relationship with people (sources) who give you leads.
Make sure you get quality leads from them.
What you need to know:
Understand which sources have the most potential.
Use tools to improve your relationship and performance with them.
3. Maintain Reports
Keep records of your sales and daily work in the company's format.
Maintain a daily diary of your activities.
What you need to know:
Understand what reports need to be filled.
Fill in data correctly and regularly.
Follow the diary format.
4. Channel Partner Recruitment
Identify and bring in new channel partners (people or companies who help get customers).
What you need to know:
Know how the partner recruitment (BSA) process works.
Be able to judge whether a person or business fits the company's partner criteria.
5. Team Huddle
Join the daily team meeting every morning and share your updates.
What you need to know:
Understand the team meeting process.
Share your daily data properly.
6. Customer Relationship Management
Make sure your customers are happy.
Maintain long-term relationships and provide them with the right products and services.
What you need to know:
Know about all HDFC home loan products and how they compare to others.
Know how to explain and sell these products.
Understand KYC (ID/address proof) and legal documents.
Use the sales kit provided.
Understand credit documents and check if the customer qualifies.
Handle customer questions or objections confidently.
