The Sales Officer will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing the distribution network, building strong retailer relationships, and executing company strategies in the assigned territory. This role is field-based and involves extensive travel within the designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
? Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned.
? Ensure effective coverage of retail and wholesale outlets.
? Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and stockists.
? Drive secondary sales and monitor stock levels at distributor points.
? Execute promotional activities and ensure visibility of products.
? Provide regular market feedback on competitor activities and customer trends.
? Coordinate with supply chain and logistics for timely delivery of products.
? Maintain accurate records of sales, collections, and daily reports.
? Participate in product training and skill development initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably BBA, B.Com, or Science).
? 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG/Pharmaceutical/Wellness industry.
? Fresher candidates with good communication and motivation may also be considered.
? Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
? Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
? Basic computer skills - MS Office, email, reporting tools.
