Job Summary:



The Head of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team, setting strategic direction, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a visionary leader with strong sales acumen who can develop and execute a sales strategy, manage relationships with key clients, and mentor the sales team to exceed targets. The position plays a critical role in shaping the company's market position and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



A) Sales Strategy and Planning:



1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company revenue and market share goals.

2. Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.

3. Set clear, measurable objectives and targets for the sales team aligned with overall business goals.

B) Team Leadership and Development:



1) Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team objectives.

2) Organize training and development programs to improve sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement.

3) Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement improvements for team effectiveness.

C) Relationship Management:



1. Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster loyalty and business growth.

2. Oversee the management of major accounts and ensure consistent high-quality service delivery.

3. Actively engage in negotiations and high-level sales pitches with potential and existing clients.

D) Sales Operations and Reporting:



1) Optimize sales processes to enhance productivity and improve conversion rates.

2) Monitor and report on sales performance, trends, and projections to executive leadership.

3) Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and effective resource allocation.

E) Cross-functional Collaboration:



1. Work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to align sales strategies with business initiatives.

2. Provide insights on customer feedback, market conditions, and competitor analysis for continuous product and service improvement.

3. Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills:



1) Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

2) Minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

3) Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

4) Proficient in CRM software, sales analytics, and performance metrics.

5) Strong understanding of P&L management.
