The candidate will be responsible for market development, distributor handling, retailer coverage, order generation, and achieving sales targets while maintaining strong relationships with channel partners
Key Responsibilities
Develop and expand FMCG sales in the
assigned domestic territory.
Appoint, manage, and support
distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual
sales targets
Conduct regular
market visits
for order booking and product placement
Ensure proper
product availability, visibility, and merchandising
Execute company
sales promotions, schemes, and new product launches
Collect market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing, and trends
Maintain strong relationships with retailers and key accounts
Ensure timely collection of payments from distributors/retailers
Prepare and submit
daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
domestic FMCG sales operations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in the field and travel extensively
Strong understanding of distribution channels
Target-driven and self-motivated personality
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Educational Qualification
Graduate in any Discipline
Relevant FMCG sales experience will be an advantage
Experience
3-5 years of experience in
FMCG domestic sales
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in handling
general trade / modern trade
Local market knowledge is a plus
Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred
