The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen brand positioning. This role involves leading the sales team, managing marketing initiatives, building key customer relationships, and ensuring achievement of business targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives
Set sales targets, forecasts, and budgets
Drive new business development and key account management
Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions to achieve targets
Lead price negotiations and approve deals within authority limits
Marketing Strategy & Brand Development
Plan and execute marketing campaigns (digital, social media, print, exhibitions, promotions)
Strengthen brand visibility and market positioning
Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity
Optimize lead generation and conversion strategies
Manage marketing budgets and ROI tracking
Team Leadership & Management
Recruit, train, motivate, and manage sales and marketing teams
Define KPIs, performance metrics, and incentive plans
Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
Build a high-performance, target-driven culture
Customer & Channel Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and channel partners
Handle escalated customer issues and ensure resolution
Identify and develop new distribution channels and territories
Planning, Reporting & Coordination
Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and management dashboards
Coordinate with production, warehouse, accounts, and logistics teams
Ensure CRM discipline and accurate sales data reporting
Support business planning and strategic decision-making

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred
Experience
5-10 years of experience in sales and marketing
Proven track record of achieving revenue and growth targets
Industry-specific experience preferred
Work Environment
Office-based with regular field visits and travel
May require participation in exhibitions, events, and client meetings
