The role involves identifying business opportunities, expanding the dealer/distributor network, and promoting company products to architects, builders, contractors, and infrastructure companies.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across regions.
Manage existing customer relationships and ensure repeat business.
Appoint and handle dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
Conduct site visits and client meetings to promote products.
2. Marketing & Brand Promotion
Plan and execute marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and trade shows.
Collaborate with the marketing team for product promotions, digital campaigns, and brand visibility.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Develop product positioning and pricing strategies based on market insights.
3. Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with key clients such as architects, interior designers, civil contractors, and project consultants.
Provide technical support and product presentations to clients.
Negotiate contracts and ensure timely order execution and delivery.
4. Team Leadership & Coordination
Lead and motivate a team of sales executives and marketing staff.
Set performance goals and monitor achievement levels.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams for smooth order fulfillment.
Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
5. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
Track sales performance and suggest improvement plans.
Monitor receivables and ensure timely collections.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Civil or Mechanical Engineering; MBA preferred.
Experience:
5-10 years in sales & marketing within the
building materials industry
(e.g., cement, tiles, paints, steel, pipes, construction chemicals, sanitaryware, etc.).
Knowledge:
Market dynamics in construction and infrastructure sectors.
Dealer/channel management and institutional sales.
CRM tools, ERP, and MS Office proficiency.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent leadership and team management ability.
Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.

Willingness to travel extensively.
