Position: Sales and Marketing Head - Racking Systems

Role Overview
The Sales and Marketing Head - Racking Systems will be responsible for driving overall sales growth, business development, and key account management for industrial racking and storage solutions. The role involves formulating and executing business strategies, developing new markets, and ensuring strong client engagement to achieve sustained revenue growth. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership capabilities and in-depth market understanding of industrial storage and material handling systems.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
Formulate and implement the sales and marketing strategy to achieve business goals and expand market presence across regions.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across warehousing, logistics, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
Lead end-to-end sales activities - from prospecting to deal closure, including proposal preparation and commercial negotiation.
Client Relationship Management
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, architects, and contractors.
Partner with clients to understand their operational needs and provide tailored racking/storage solutions in collaboration with the design and engineering teams.
Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and after-sales support.
Team Leadership & Performance
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and conduct regular reviews to ensure accountability and consistent results.
Market & Competitive Analysis
Track industry trends, competitor strategies, pricing models, and new product developments.
Provide insights and recommendations to the management team for continuous business improvement.
Commercial & Operational Responsibilities
Manage pricing, margins, and profitability in line with company objectives.
Ensure adherence to payment terms and timely collection of receivables.
Generate and present periodic sales reports, forecasts, and business performance updates to management.
Key Skills & Competencies
Proven success in B2B industrial sales, ideally within racking systems, storage solutions, or material handling equipment.
Strong market networking, client engagement, and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze markets and identify growth opportunities.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Result-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Management (MBA preferred).
8-12 years of total experience in industrial or B2B sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Prior exposure to industrial racking, warehousing solutions, or construction products will be an added advantage.
