We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Sales Person to promote and sell
food ingredients, additives, and functional solutions to food & beverage manufacturers
. The role requires a strong understanding of food technology, ability to provide application support, and a passion for driving sales through customer-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and sell
food ingredients
and additives to B2B clients.
Develop new business by identifying potential customers in bakery, dairy, beverages, confectionery, snacks, and nutraceutical sectors.
Provide
technical support and application guidance
to customers, including assistance in product development, trials, and troubleshooting.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training sessions for clients.
Collaborate with R&D and application teams to customize solutions based on client requirements.
Collect and analyze market intelligence (competitor products, pricing, and customer trends).
Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth strategies.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry seminars.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, or Chemistry.
Experience: 2-5 years in technical sales/business development of food ingredients, additives, or nutraceuticals (mandatory).
Strong understanding of food formulations, applications, and industry regulations (FSSAI, Codex, etc.).
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a business-friendly manner.
Willingness to travel extensively
across regions.
