General Information Job Title:

Department: Marketing Executive

Job Purpose: We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Executive with experience in the lighting industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and executing BTL (Below-the-Line) campaigns to promote our brand, managing budgets to ensure a high ROI, and collaborating closely with the regional sales team.

Sturlite is a Bangalore based electrical products company founded in 2009 with a vision to provide best in class electrical products to consumers. It is one of the fastest growing companies in this category and deals primarily in lighting (bulbs, LEDs, interior/exterior lighting etc.) and wiring, and it is now entering the category of switches, MCBs, etc. In future Sturlite would also want to enter into small electrical appliances like fans, geysers, kitchen appliances etc. It is a rapidly growing company with 2X annual business growth, having established itself in South & West India markets in the last few years, the company is aiming at a pan India presence by this year end and aiming to be one of the major players in the category within the next 3 years.

Major Accountabilities :

Plan and execute BTL campaigns to promote the brand within a constrained budget, ensuring ROI is in line with regional sales team targets. Prepare annual and quarterly marketing plans to generate quality leads.

Organize events, including retail meets, electrician meets, and nukkad meets.

Develop campaigns to enhance brand recall among end consumers, boosting territory sales. Plan, budget, and forecast the stock of fast-moving products based on quarterly sales data maintain metrics such as CPO (Cost Per Order) and ROI.

Monitor competitor activities in the market and analyze OOH (Out of Home) advertising for effective ROI outcomes.

Plan POP (Point of Purchase) and POSM (Point of Sale Materials) for new product launches, retail meets, and campaigns. Brand associated retail outlets/stores to enhance customer experience.

Travel across the country, particularly to challenging markets, to better understand marketing support requirements and provide effective solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in the lighting industry. Strong knowledge of BTL campaigns and marketing strategies. Excellent planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills.

Proficient in using marketing tools and software. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel extensively and work in challenging markets. High level of professionalism and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in organizing events and campaigns within the lighting industry.

Familiarity with competitor analysis and market research.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
