Maraca is a fruit processing company based in Kerala, manufacturing fruit syrups, crushes and squashes across a range of fruit flavours. We are currently expanding our presence across the southern regions of India through multiple online retail platforms as well as on-trade channels. Our products are designed for versatile beverage applications, including crafted drinks and refreshment solutions.
Role Description
The
Sales Marketing Executive
will be responsible for building Maraca's presence across pubs, restobars, cafes, hotels, and beverage-led outlets in Bangalore. The role focuses on
introducing Maraca fruit squashes as a core ingredient for mocktails, cocktails, and crafted beverages
, driving product trials, and ensuring sustained usage at the outlet level.
This is a
field-intensive role
that involves engaging directly with bartenders, bar managers, and outlet decision-makers to demonstrate product versatility, recommend beverage applications, and position Maraca as a preferred syrup/squash brand for on-trade beverage preparation.
Key Responsibility
Identify and visit pubs, restobars, lounges, cafes, hotels, and beverage-focused outlets across Bangalore.
Introduce Maraca fruit squashes to bartenders, bar managers, and procurement teams.
Conduct
product demos and tasting sessions
, showcasing how Maraca squashes can be used in Mocktails, Cocktails, Signature crafted drinks & Non-alcoholic refreshers.
Educate bar staff on
flavour profiles, consistency, dilution ratios, and drink pairings
.
Encourage
trial usage
and secure product placement behind the bar.
Work towards converting trials into
regular usage and repeat orders
.
Build and maintain strong relationships with outlet staff and decision-makers.
Coordinate with distributors / internal teams to ensure product availability at onboarded outlets.
Track daily field activities, outlet feedback, trials conducted, and conversions.
Collect market insights on competing brands, Pricing expectations, Popular flavours, and emerging beverage trends.
Represent Maraca as a
professional, reliable, and bartender-friendly brand
in the on-trade market.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven background in sales or marketing
Experience working with pubs, bars, hotels, or restaurants is a strong advantage
Fluency in English, Hindi and Kannada (mandatory)
Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
Must own a two-wheeler (bike/scooter) with a valid driving license
Willingness to travel extensively within Bangalore
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with field sales
