Job Summary
The International Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing international business opportunities for medical devices, building strong client relationships, and achieving export sales targets in assigned regions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and expand
international markets
for ophthalmic and other medical devices.
Identify and onboard
new distributors, importers, and institutional clients
in targeted regions (Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe, etc.).
Manage and maintain relationships with existing
international clients
and follow up on sales leads.
Prepare and share
commercial offers, quotations, and product catalogs
with clients.
Conduct
market research and competitor analysis
to identify trends and pricing strategies.
Coordinate with the
regulatory and documentation teams
for export compliance (CE, ISO, FDA, etc.).
Attend
international trade shows, exhibitions, and virtual meetings
to promote products.
Handle
export documentation
(proforma invoices, LC, shipment coordination, etc.) with the logistics team.
Maintain and update
CRM / sales records
, ensuring proper reporting of targets and pipeline.
Support
marketing activities
, including digital campaigns, client mailers, and promotional material preparation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in
Business Administration, International Trade, or Life Sciences / Biomedical / Biotechnology
.
1-3 years of experience in
international sales / export marketing
(preferably in the
medical device or pharma
industry).
Strong
communication and email writing skills
in English.
Knowledge of
export documentation, incoterms, and international payment terms
.
Proficiency in
MS Office
,
CRM tools
, and
online business platforms (LinkedIn, Alibaba, etc.)
.
Ability to handle multiple clients across different time zones.
Excellent
negotiation, follow-up, and relationship management
skills.

Monthly / Quarterly

Timely submission of
sales reports and market feedback

Compensation
Salary: As per industry standards (based on experience and performance).
Incentives: Export sales commission / performance-based bonus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,354.87 - ₹38,321.98 per month
